At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

6.   Public Hearings: All persons interested in making comments about any of the public hearing items will be heard. Formal petitions and written comments regarding any of the public hearing items may be submitted tonight. During the public hearing(s), if you wish to be heard, the Village Board of Trustees asks that you begin by stating your name and address, speak for no more than three minutes and attempt to avoid duplication.  Each person speaking at the public hearing must complete a Public Hearing Appearance form before speaking and hand it to the Village Clerk after they have spoken.  Forms are available on the table located at the back of the room.
 
a.   A Public Hearing to consider the Plan Commission's recommendation regarding the request of the Boucher Group to rezone lands located at N81W12920 Leon Road, from the I-1 Light Industrial District to the I-1 Light Industrial District with the OC-5 Commercial Service Overlay District.  The subject lands are located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 12, and identified by Tax Key Number 48.996.007.   Discussion and Possible Action on the request of the Boucher Group to adopt an Ordinance rezoning lands located at N81W12920 Leon Road, from the I-1 Light Industrial District to the I-1 Light Industrial District with the OC-5 Commercial Service Overlay District.  The subject lands are located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 12, and identified by Tax Key Number 48.996.007.  At its meeting on April 7, 2015 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this request be approved.

a.   An Ordinance amending the Land Use component of the Comprehensive Plan, for the lands owned by J Bradley Bence, generally located on the East side of Lannon Road, approximately 1/2 mile South of County Line Road, from the Agricultural Holding Area Land Use Classification (allowing densities of no more than one unit per 35 acres) to the Rural Density Residential Land Use Classification (allowing densities ranging from 3 acres to 35 acres per dwelling unit).  The subject lands are located in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 5, and identified by Tax Key Numbers 19.999.001 and 19.993.001.  The Plan Commission recommended this amendment be approved, with a vote of 4 to 1, at its meeting on May 5, 2015.
