Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

6.   Public Hearings: All persons interested in making comments about any of the public hearing items will be heard. Formal petitions and written comments regarding any of the public hearing items may be submitted tonight. During the public hearing(s), if you wish to be heard, the Village Board of Trustees asks that you begin by stating your name and address, speak for no more than three minutes and attempt to avoid duplication.  Each person speaking at the public hearing must complete a Public Hearing Appearance form before speaking and hand it to the Village Clerk after they have spoken.  Forms are available on the table located at the back of the room.
 
a.   A Public Hearing to consider the Plan Commission's recommendation regarding the request of James Forester to rezone lands located at W220N6034 Town Line Road, from the R-2 Single Family Residential District to the PRD Planned Residential Development District. The subject lands are located in the Northwest ¼ of Section 30, and identified by Tax Key Numbers 118.001 and 118.019.

  Action Item:  
 
  Discussion and Possible Action on the request of James Forester to adopt an Ordinance rezoning lands located at W220N6034 Town Line Road and the adjacent parcel to the east, from the R-2 Single Family Residential District to the PRD Planned Residential Development District. The subject lands are located in the Northwest ¼ of Section 30, and identified by Tax Key Numbers 118.001 and 118.019.  At its meeting on December 8, 2015 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended the Village Board rezone the lands currently located in the R-2 Single Family Residential District on the parcels identified by Tax Key Number 118.001 and 118.019 to the PRD Planned Residential Development District.
