Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

Formal petitions and written comments regarding any of the public hearing items may be submitted tonight. During the public hearing(s), if you wish to be heard, the Village Board of Trustees asks that you begin by stating your name and address, speak for no more than three minutes and attempt to avoid duplication.  Each person speaking at the public hearing must complete a Public Hearing Appearance form before speaking and hand it to the Village Clerk after they have spoken.  Forms are available on the table located at the back of the room.

  Discussion and Possible Action on a Resolution vacating a portion of Duke Street, extending into the proposed Christman Park Subdivision, North of the parcel identified by Tax Key Number 15.994.001, in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4.  On April 18, 2016 the Village Board of Trustees adopted Resolution No. 1107-R-16 accepting the introduction of and referring for public hearing and proceedings a Resolution vacating the subject right-of-way.
 
2.   A Public Hearing to consider the Plan Commission's recommendation regarding an Ordinance amending Section 122-409 of the Municipal Code modifying the boundaries of the OVC Village Centre Overlay District. Click to View

  Discussion and Possible Action on the adoption of an Ordinance amending Section 122-409 of the Municipal Code modifying the boundaries of the OVC Village Centre Overlay District.  At its meeting on May 10, 2016 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Ordinance be approved.
 
3.   A Public Hearing to consider the Plan Commission's recommendation to rezone land located at N72W15756 Good Hope Road from the R-2 Single Family Residential District to the P-2 Institutional District.  The subject land is located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 15 and identified by Tax Key Number 60.965.   Action Item:  
 
  Discussion and Possible Action on the adoption of an Ordinance rezoning land located at  N72W15756 Good Hope Road from the R-2 Single Family Residential District to the P-2 Institutional District.  The subject land is located in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 15 and identified by Tax Key Number 60.965.  At its meeting on May 10, 2016 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Rezoning be approved.
 
6.   New Business - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
 
1.   Consideration of an ordinance amending various sections of Chapter 66 of the Municipal Code regarding the placing of animals in the park for purposes of hosting a pet fair. Click to View
 
7.   Convene into Closed Session in the Village Board Room (Room #2245) for the following purposes:
 
1.   To confer with the Village Manager, Assistant Village Manager, Protective Services Director, Village Attorney and Village staff concerning the following matters:

a.         Under Wisconsin Statutes § 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation and performance evaluation data of certain Village staff related to and part of a possible Village staff reorganization;

b.         Under Wisconsin Statutes § 19.85(1)(e) to consider the negotiation strategy to be adopted by the Village in negotiations with Waukesha County over the terms of a Community Development Block Grant and HOME Mutual Cooperation Agreement.

Reconvene into Open Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §19.85(2) and return to Village Board Room (Room #2245) for possible additional discussion and/or action concerning any matter discussed in Closed Session and/or any unfinished item remaining on the Agenda.
