Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

6.   Plan Commission - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
 
a.   The request of the Village of Menomonee Falls to adopt an Ordinance amending the land use component of the Comprehensive Plan for a portion of land located on the east side of Badger Drive from the Park/Open Space Land Use Classification to the Low Density Residential Land Use Classification.  The subject parcel is located in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 35 and a portion of the parcel identified by Tax Key Number 138.133.  At its meeting on December 5, 2017 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Ordinance be approved. b.   A Resolution accepting the introduction of a Resolution vacating a portion of right of way at the intersection of Menomonee River Parkway and Patton Drive, west of a parcel identified by Tax Key Number 37.030.  At its meeting on December 5, 2107 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Resolution be approved. c.   The request of the Village of Menomonee Falls to adopt a Resolution approving a Certified Survey Map redelineating lands on the West side of Appleton Avenue, North of Garfield Drive, currently identified by Tax Key Numbers 11.273 and 11.260.003.  At its meeting on December 5, 2017 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Certified Survey Map be approved subject to 13 conditions. d.   The request of Falls Fire LLC to obtain a Conditional Use Permit allowing the indoor hours of operation to be extended until 2:30 AM and for the outdoor hours of operation to be extended until 11:00 PM.  The subject property is located at N88W16631 Appleton Avenue and currently identified by Tax Key Number 11.273.  At its meeting on December 9, 2017 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Permit be approved subject to 3 issues being resolved prior to the issuance of a building permit and 9 conditions running with the Permit.  At its meeting on November 28, 2017 the Architectural Control Board unanimously recommended this Permit be approved subject to 3 conditions. a.   Approval of Pete Sorenson of Pete's Main Street Headliners to the Business Improvement District Board of Directors for a three-year term running from January 1, 2018 until December 31, 2020. Click to View

a.   The Village Board meeting normally scheduled for the first week of January will not be held. The first scheduled Village Board meeting for 2018 is set for January 15, 2018.
 
b.   Village Hall hours for the upcoming Holiday Season:
      Closed all day on Friday, December 22 and Monday, December 25, 2017
         
and will reopen on Tuesday, December 26 at 8:00 a.m. 

      Closed all day on Monday, January 1, 2018
          
and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.
 
10.   Closed Session
 
a.   Convene into Closed Session in the Administrative Conference Room (Room #2244) under Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(g) to confer with the Village Manager, Assistant Village Manager, Village Attorney and Assistant Village Attorney concerning possible litigation involving the December 4 action of the Board of Trustees on the request of Wireless Planning to obtain a Conditional Use Permit allowing a wireless communications facility on the property owned by the Village of Menomonee Falls located at W140N7501 Lilly Road. 11.   Reconvene into Open Session Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(2) and Return to Village Board Room (Room #2245) for Possible Additional Discussion and/or Action Concerning any Matter Discussed in Closed Session and/or any Unfinished Item Remaining on the Agenda.
