Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

6.   Public Hearings: All persons interested in making comments about any of the public hearing items will be heard. Formal petitions and written comments regarding any of the public hearing items may be submitted tonight. During the public hearing(s), if you wish to be heard, the Village Board of Trustees asks that you begin by stating your name and address, speak for no more than three minutes and attempt to avoid duplication.  Each person speaking at the public hearing must complete a Public Hearing Appearance form before speaking and hand it to the Village Clerk after they have spoken.  Forms are available on the table located at the back of the room.
 
a.   A Public Hearing to consider the Plan Commission's recommendation regarding the request of Aldi Inc to rezone lands currently owned by Woodman’s Food Market, Inc from the I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District to the I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District with the OC-5 Commercial Service Overlay. The subject property is located at the northwest corner of Boundary Road and Leon Road, in the Southeast ¼ of Section 12, and identified by Tax Key Number 48.985.003.

  Discussion and Possible Action on the Plan Commission's recommendation regarding the adoption of an Ordinance rezoning lands currently owned by Woodman’s Food Market, Inc from the I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District to the I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District with the OC-5 Commercial Service Overlay. The subject property is located at the northwest corner of Boundary Road and Leon Road, in the Southeast ¼ of Section 12, and identified by Tax Key Number 48.985.003.  At its meeting on June 5, 2018 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Ordinance be approved.

7.   Plan Commission - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
 
a.   The request of Stanley Drive LLC to grant a conditional use permit to allow an auto body collision shop and outdoor storage of equipment related to the operations of a landscape business. The subject property is located at N60W16230 Kohler Lane, and identified by Tax Key Number 105.999.003.  At its meeting on June 5, 2018 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this permit be approved subject to 2 conditions being reconciled prior to the placement of any equipment, machinery, vehicles, etc. in the back area of the property  and 12 conditions running with the Permit.  At its meeting on June 26, 2018 the Architectural Control Board unanimously recommended this Permit be approved subject to 2 conditions. b.   The request of Independent Scholastic Association Inc. to amend Conditional Use Permit No. 3-22-96-D allowing Aquinas Academy the ability to construct a new building on their school campus located at N72W15935 Good Hope Road, on a parcel identified by Tax Key Number 85.997.004.  At its meeting on May 8, 2018 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended the permit be approved subject to 17 conditions being reconciled prior to the issuance of a building permit, and 9 conditions running with the permit.  At its meeting on June 26, 2018 the Architectural Control Board unanimously recommended this permit be approved subject to 7 conditions. c.   The request of Dennis and Kathleen Reimer to rezone several parcels located on Lannon Road approximately a ¼ mile north of Silver Spring Road, from the A-1 Agricultural Zoning District to the R-1 Single Family Residential Zoning District.  The subject land is located in the Northwest and Southwest ¼ of Section 29, and identified by Tax Key Numbers 114.997.006, 115.999.003, 115.999.004, 115.999, 115.999.001, 115.999.002, 115.998, and 115.997.  At its meeting on July 10, 2018 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended the Village Board modify the request and rezone only the parcels identified by Tax Key Numbers 115.999.004 and 115.999 from the A-1 Agricultural District to the R-1 Single Family Residential District.
