Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

6.   Plan Commission - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
 
a.   The request of R-K Associates of Waukesha dba Roundy’s Supermarkets to amend Conditional Use Permit 2-13-95B allowing the sale of seasonal merchandise along the building near the main entrances. The subject site is located at N95 W18351 County Line Road, and identified by Tax Key Number 14.990.  At its meeting on January 8, 2019 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Permit be amended subject to 8 conditions. b.   The request of Dial Realty MF II LP. c/o Gabaldon Properties to obtain a Conditional Use Permit allowing OrangeTheory Fitness to operate a fitness studio with extended operating hours from the existing building located at W180N9460 Premier Lane, on the parcel identified by Tax Key Number 14.980.001.  At its meeting on January 9,2019 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this permit be approved subject to 7 conditions. c.   The request of the Village of Menomonee Falls to adopt an Ordinance amending the land use component of the Comprehensive Plan for lands located on the Southwest corner of Main Street and Hayes Avenue, from the High Density Residential (> 6 dwelling units per acre) Land Use Classification to the Institutional Land Use Classification. The subject parcel is located at N89W16211 Main Street, in the Southeast ¼ of Section 3, and identified by Tax Key Number 12.062.  At its meeting on January 8, 2019 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Ordinance be approved.

d.   The request of William E. Harlow and Brenda J. Harlow Revocable Trust to adopt a Resolution approving a Certified Survey Map combining lands located on the south side of Good Hope, west of the Good Hope Subdivision.  The subject lands are located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 21 and identified by Tax Key Numbers 81.995 and 81.996.  At its meeting on January 8, 2019 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Resolution be approved subject to 11 conditions. e.   A Resolution accepting the introduction of a Resolution vacating an unimproved section of Ruby Road located west of the Ravine Acres Subdivision, extending through a parcel identified by Tax Key Number 93.944 in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24.  At its meeting on January 8, 2019 the Plan Commission unanimously recommended this Resolution be approved. 7.   Utilities and Public Works Committee - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
 
a.   A Resolution rescinding the May 16, 2016 approval of an Intermunicipal Agreement between the Village of Lannon, the Village of Sussex, the Town of Lisbon, the Lisbon Sanitary District No. 1 and the Village of Menomonee Falls and Approving in its place an updated Intermunicipal Agreement between the Village of Lannon, the Village of Sussex, the Town of Lisbon, the Lisbon Sanitary District No. 1 and the Village of Menomonee Falls. b.   Special Assessment Agreement between the Village of Menomonee Falls and Kurt and Kayla Stefan for the connection of municipal water and sanitary sewer services to the property located at W214N5314 Adamdale Drive.  Click to View
 
8.   New Business - Discussion and possible action on the following items:
 
a.   Four Agenda Items as requested by Trustee Paul Tadda and Trustee Jeremy Walz:
  • Discussion and possible action whether to direct the Village Manager to place the "Annual Calendar at a Glance" on the Board of Trustees Agenda for review and approval on the first Village Board meeting of each year;
  • Discussion and possible action whether to require the Director of Public Services to prepare and present an annual Emergency Services report to the Village Board each year.  The report, at a minimum, should contain the following information:
    • Law enforcement and emergency statistical comparisons to the previous year and long-term trends
    • Successes
    • Nuisance activity and utilization of the Sec. 71-30 of the Village Ordinances in addressing the nuisance issues
    • Challenges past and impending
    • This report shall be added to the "Annual Calendar at a Glance"
  • Discussion and possible action whether to request the Village Manager set up a meeting with the appropriate Woodman's representatives to discuss the criminal activity occurring on the Woodman's property and ways to address it. If Woodman's will not attend the meeting with the Village Board, we request the Director of Protective Services address the Village Board to describe steps that will be taken to reduce the criminal activity at Woodmans.
  • Discussion and possible action whether to direct the Village Manager to prepare an annual Enforcement Report using the newly passed Chapter 71 of the Municipal Code and add the annual report to the "Annual Calendar at a Glance".  This report should be made as early as possible each year.

b.   Approval of Gerry Luisier as an Associate BID Board member to fill the vacancy of Ryan Deutscher with a term to expire on December 31, 2019. Click to View
