Public Comment Period  At 6:30 p.m., immediately preceding Call to Order, the Village Board of Trustees will hold a public comment period for the purpose of allowing the non-elected general public the opportunity to address the Board on any subject of concern that is not the topic of a current or previous Public Hearing before the Village Board. Each person who wishes to address the Village Board of Trustees may do so at the podium for a maximum of 3 minutes. The Board will only receive comments during Public Comment. The Public Comment portion of the meeting is scheduled for a total of 15 minutes in length but will end sooner if the Village President has determined that there is no one else present who still wishes to speak. After Public Comment has ended, there will be a short recess to begin broadcast of the Board of Trustees Meeting.

5.   Public Hearings: All persons interested in making comments about any of the public hearing items will be heard. Formal petitions and written comments regarding any of the public hearing items may be submitted tonight. During the public hearing(s), if you wish to be heard, the Village Board of Trustees asks that you begin by stating your name and address, speak for no more than three minutes and attempt to avoid duplication.  Each person speaking at the public hearing must complete a Public Hearing Appearance form before speaking and hand it to the Village Clerk after they have spoken.  Forms are available on the table located at the back of the room.

a.   Direct the Village Attorney to take the necessary steps to eliminate Chapter 72 - Protective Services from the Menomonee Falls Code of Ordinance.  Any references to Protective Services in the Menomonee Falls Code of Ordinances will be removed. Click to View
 
9.   Convene into closed session in the Administrative Conference Room (Room #2244) to confer with the Village Manager and Village Attorney regarding the following matters: Click to View
 
a.   Under Wisconsin Statutes §19.85(1)(e) concerning negotiations over the terms of a possible development agreement or other related agreements with one or more owners or potential developers of property in Tax Incremental District No. 6, Tax Incremental District No. 8 and Tax Incremental District No. 10; and
 
b.   Under Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(c) and (1)(f) to discuss the circumstances of the Police Chief’s resignation as Protective Services Director and related Fire Department personnel issues; and
 
c.   Under Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(e) concerning negotiations over the terms of a possible property exchange agreement between the Village and the Menomonee Falls School District.
 
10.   Reconvene into Open Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §19.85(2) and return to Village Board Room (Room #2245) and adjourn.
